They aren’t your business. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for living a full life, just as there’s no regimen that creates a healthy life for everyone. However, God desires life for us to such a great extent that He made a way through Christ for us to have that life restored. Christ’s death and life means we do not have to give up our physical lives, but it does mean we must make an active choice to surrender our right to live independent lives of sin, and instead accept and welcome God’s way of life.

Live life to its fullest is a clichè often said to encourage people who are feeling down, a bit depressed, lonely or self-pitying.

How do we help a senior in our care toward a sense of purpose and meaning when it may be tough to just physically get through the day?

We will live as long as God wants us to live. John 14:6 identifies Jesus as the life.

When we expect to live completely fulfilling lives without God, we expect something of life that it was never designed to give.

Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV). And to truly live it to the fullest you have to live it for you. Living a full and satisfying life is at the top of our inborn priorities, and yet it seems to be a goal that is impossible to reach completely. A life to the fullest is a life that is characterized by being in relationship with Jesus, because He Himself is the definition of life. It is here that we can accept Jesus’ gift of having lived and died on our behalf before God, and acknowledge that this is the only way our relationship with God can be made right.
