If you’re not sure whether or not it’s okay to use yoroshiku on its own, you should probably just use yoroshiku onegaishimasu. meaning "Yes, I understand (so you can count on me to do it.)"
For instance, enter any store or shop in Japan, and the staff will immediately yell “Onegaishimasu!” (or “Irasshaimase!”) as you walk in. fascinates me.
