2 reviews from this member: We stayed from Fri 1st to Sun 3rd of June and were very impressed with the improvements on Blacklands Farm. [Reception]  It was not messy AT ALL. more. Room for improvement but would use again.

Staff around were friendly and helpful and it was reassuring to get the impression they knew what was going on around the site.If you want to cook on their firepit, you need to bring on a standing grill of your own.I expect we'll be back.

We were there through all the horrible wind so their barn was a good place to take shelter. A perfect escape from modern life. We have been coming here for about five or six years with our families and we have always had a good stay. Blacklands Farm Caravan and Camping is a friendly, family run site that welcomes campers back time and time again.

The staff are amazingly helpful happily re-freezing ice blocks for us, which was a must given the great weather. They were super noisy and I couldn’t believe in covid times that groups that size were allowed. The price was a little expensive compared to some other sites. The site also allows open fires, which is rare, you can hire a fire pit and wood from the on-site shop. The woods were also contained such that kids would be findable. We didn't and were very glad. There was quite a few of them which was good on a busy day to not wait for the toilet. Keep abreast of the latest news and updates much more easily. Blacklands Farm is a friendly family campsite ideal if you have children as they offer a play park, fishing and woodland... been coming here for five years. Simply the Best campsite in Sussex for familys ! My daughter wanted to give camping a go so we booked here last minute. If required, I believe the shop wil also charge mobile phones for a donation to charity, For us we love that it is a quiet campsite with no music allowed and quiet after 11pm - what could be better than listening to birds, laughter and the crackling campfires come dusk? The man who owns the campsite came around in his golf buggy and started yelling at us to “shut up” and that we were “taking the bleeding piss”.

Thankyou Blacklands farm ! Someone walked round after 11pm to make sure no one was being disruptive.

We got an electrical hook up and the staff were helpful. Simply. They were abit smelly, could do with more cleaning and in need of modernisation. They kindly sent us an email on the day of pitching to let us know the site was very wet and muddy, giving us the option of cancelling. This was the first night of our unbooked campervan trip to the South West. Lots of swings with tyres on which was a nice addition to kids playing outside of the play area. The campsite is large and spacious. [Caravans & Motorhomes For Sale]  On our first night as we got into the tent, I will admit we were being a little bit noisy. Great location for days out and to get to from London. We go here few times a year owners r lovely facilities are clean. We’d highly recommend a stay here, we will be back. It is the ideal backdrop for children to play, and for you to relax and enjoy the local produce from our well-stocked country shop. [Shop!] Its a joy to watch our children running freely playing on the tyre swings and play park and no mention of technology! The field we were in was quite busy but this was expected. The shop stocks all camping essentials and … Really enjoyed 3 days at Blackland's farm for the early May bank holiday. We were looking forward to a nice quiet weekend in the countryside.I think there are probably quieter supermarkets in central London.The noise did not stop from 6 that evening till around 6 Sunday evening- so if you want a quiet relaxing break then go mid week.It took a good hour to walk to the pub as well so not as near as they say.
